About Jim Roberts

Jim R. Roberts is the founder of the Network for Entrepreneurs in Wilmington (NEW) and the WALE Angel Network. Jim also started the tech startup ecosystem orgs in Charlotte, Asheville and worked in the nanotech space in Durham. Jim was the inaugural Executive Director of the UNCW CIE incubator in 2013 that won an award at the White House in the first 12 months as one of the top 50 incubators in the USA. Jim is proud of his National Champion Florida Gators.
