GrepBeat Goes To The Beach For A Happy Hour In Wilmington

On Thursday afternoon, Team GrepBeat (and sister Team Primordial) cruised coastward for a fall happy hour in Wilmington.

We set up shop at Wilmington Brewing Company (where the in-house pumpkin beer was delectably enhanced via margarita-salt-style cinnamon-sugar rims) and attendees were treated to their first beverages by our generous sponsors, Aprio and Michael Best.

This was a great opportunity for us to spend some time with our expanding audience and community beyond the Triangle (though we were pleased that many of our Triangle friends made the trip down as well). Not counting a handful of canine friends lovably loitering by the bar counter (shouts to Chewy, who definitely didn’t want to subscribe to our newsletter, and Ivy, who did), almost 60 people came out to mingle, network, and in some cases just learn a bit more about GrepBeat.

Teams GrepBeat and Primordial are already looking forward to our next chance to head to Wilmington, and we’ll of course keep you all posted on any upcoming get-togethers in general.

If you missed this happy hour, or you were there and just want to relive it, please enjoy some photos from the occasion below.
