GrepBeat and Primordial Go To The Beach-Each, Let’s Go Get Away to Wilmington!

GrepBeat and its sister company Primordial made the two-and-a-half-hour trek out to the beach last night for an official launch into the Wilmington startup market. The event was held at The Wine Sampler, a winery owned by Wilmington-based entrepreneur (and the GrepBeat Godfather’s old MBA classmate) Robert Cooley.

Entrepreneurs and investors hailed from around the area (and some even from the Triangle) to celebrate this newest chapter in GrepBeat’s book. As senior editor David Schwartz announced to the crowd, “we are excited to start a new journey in this area and we hope that we can highlight the entrepreneurial potential we’ve already started to see here.”

And the Wilmington crowd was equally as excited. Mauricio Mendoza of Bixli said, “[we are] grateful that there will be this kind of exposure for these Wilmington companies.”

Here are some pics from last night. It was so thrilling to get to meet so many new faces and see some familiar ones along for the ride. We hope to see them all and more again at our next Wilmington-based event (stay tuned!) and other GrepBeat happenings.
